The 'Canal Zone' clasp was formally instituted on 23 October 2003, with basic qualifying criteria being 30 days continuous service in theatre (the 'Canal Zone' of Egyypt), as specified, between the dates of 16 October 1951 to 19 October 1954. During the qualifying dates it is recorded that British Forces suffered 54 x 'Killed' & 124 x 'Wounded'
