Sapper John Craig, was a native of Glasgow, Scotland, where he was born, 3 November 1937. By civilian trade he was a 'Painter'. He was married to Katherine Craig, who resided at, 19 Lyon Street, Cowcaddens, Glasgow. John enlisted in the Territorial Army on 10 May 1939
