The insignia retaining its original silk riband which is fitted with the issue 'Silver' mounting brooch bar, this latter complete with hinged pin & clasp fittings

Note: This is an item of insignia struck in 1919 (the Order of the British Empire was only instituted in 1917), and which would have been used on awards in 1919 and into early 1920
