Austin James Germany son of James Germany (Hotel Proprietor, E.I.R. Hotel, Cawnpore) and Mary Ann Germany, was born at Cawnpore, India, on, 7 April 1875. On 19 December 1901, Austin married Edith Gertrude Johnson Lemar Goff (whose father was another Engine Driver, with the E.I.Railway), at Jamalpur, India (where the the famous workshops of the East Indian Railway Company Ltd, were located). At the time of his marriage in 1901, Austin was already recorded as a 'Driver'. Driver (IV Class), Austin James Germany died at Bathinda, Punjab, India, on, 15 May 1926.
