The Princely State of Bahawalpur was the first - and largest - Princely State to accede to Pakistan, which it did on, 5 October 1947

This the bronze issue complete with integral top brooch bar, this latter retaining the original hinged pin and clasp fittings on reverse of brooch

Note: Medal is fitted with a stitched length of original riband as issued
