- Germany (Third Reich): Hindenburg Cross 1914-1918. Combatant ('G 14' maker marks). With gilt 'War Swords' emblem on riband
- Austria: Defence of the Tirol War Service Medal 1914-18.
The Iron Cross with magnetic iron core, contained in a two-piece German nickel-silver beaded frame. The Hindenburg Cross with makers marks 'G 14' to reverse'
The 4 x medals mounted on silk ribands and as-worn in a typical contemporary German 'Parade Mount', or 'Continental' style. The reverse of the mounting pad retaining its original long hinged-pin & clasp fittings
