Medal and clasp verification: Medal and clasp is confirmed as entitled per the respective campaign medal roll of the 116th (Zhob) Pack Battery, reference WO 100/G34/444, that was compiled and signed at Quetta Cantonment, Baluchistan, India (now located in Pakistan) on, 23 May 1924. At the time the medal roll was compiled the recipient has a remark opposite his name indicating that he was no longer effective as he had taken his discharge from the British Indian Army
