3/10 Gurkha Rifles, a war-raised battalion of the 10th Gurkha Rifles Regiment served in Burma during the Second World War, and in Java, Netherlands East Indies (now Indonesia) in period 1945-46. During their service in Java & Sumatra 1945-46, 3/10 GR served with 37th Indian Infantry Brigade under higher formation 23 Indian Division (The Fighting Cock's)
