1914-15 Star (R4-065726 Pte D. McMillan. A.S.C.)
The recipient, Private Donald McMillan, was originally posted to the Army Service Corps, with which unit he was serving when he entered theatre of war, France, on, 18 March 1915. Sometime after landing in France, Donald was promoted to Corporal, and transferred to the Royal Field Artillery. For some peculiar reason, Donald reverted to the rank of Private - at his own request - on, 18 March 1915.
