James Hogg Butler Telford, was a 'True Borderer's Man' having been born in Hawick, Roxburghshire, Scotland on, 3 January 1920. Prior to enlisting in the British Army James had been employed as a 'Weaver'. In 1950, James married Margaret Hope Lynn, at his hometown of Hawick. James Telford is recorded as having died at Hawick, Scotland, on, 19 February 1992
