Thomas Harrison Lowe, the second and youngest son of Alfred Lowe (formerly No 2007 Private in Cameron Highlanders, a Tel-el-Kebir veteran, and by 1901, resident in Glasgow, Scotland, where he was employed as a Railway 'Shunter') and Isabella Lowe (nee Hope), was a native of, Glasgow, Scotland, where his birth was registered in 1897. By the time of the compilation of the 1901 National Census for Scotland, Thomas was recorded, living with his parents and three elder siblings comprising; 2 x sisters, vis Margaret Lowe & Harriet Lowe, and brother Alfred Lowe. In 101, the family resided at, 162 Kent Road, in the parish of Sandyford, Glasgow. During the Great War, Thomas served throughout with his fathers old regiment, the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders. Thomas, would have enlisted as a tenacious teenager on the outbreak of war, and after completing his basic training was posted to 2nd Battalion Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders, He first entered theatre of war 'France' on, 25 January 1915. Thomas was fortunate to survive the Great War, physically unscathed, and took his discharge from the British Army in 1919. On, 12 March 1919, he was transferred to Class 'Z' Army Reserve for demobilization from the British Army. During 1927, Thomas married Sarah Gertrude Reid, at Glasgow.Thomas Harrison Lowe did not live a long life, as he is recorded as having died in, Glasgow, Scotland, sometime during 1939
