This badge was formerly worn by No. 2545 Lance-Corporal George Galen 5th (Buchan and Formartin) Battalion ) Gordon Highlanders (Territorial Force), who was wounded on the Western Front in 1917, while serving with the 51st Highland Division of the British Expeditionary Force in France & Flanders - a native of Auchterless, Aberdeenshire, whose full-size medals are being sold separately on the website, see item code:
