John Jonathan Daniels, son of Thomas Daniels & Anna Daniels, was a native of, Langmere, Norfolk, England, where he was born in July 1875. John Married Kate Burrows at Dickleburgh, Norfolk, on 8 January 1899. The following year, John Daniels together with his wife, relocated to London, where he joined the Metropolitan Police on 30 April 1900. Given the Warrant Number 86320, John was posted to 'R' Division - Greenwich - of the Metropolitan Police Force. He subsequently served his entire police career with 'R' (Greenwich) Division, and by the time he took his discharge to pension on 3rd May 1925, he was 49 years of age and had served as a 'Bobby' for 25 years. In retirement the Daniel's returned to their Norfolk roots, and where in 1939, John was described as employed as a Farmer, and living with his wife and family (two sons) at, Depwade, Norfolk, England. John Jonathan Daniels is recorded to have died at Depwade, NorfolK, sometime during the fourth quarter of 1952
