A multi-service decoration awarded to Army, Marine Corps, Air Force, Navy & Coast Guard

A complete set contained in a plush 'Coffin' black leatherette hinged case of issue, with the name of the medal in gilt tooled letters on the outside upper lid

The set comprising:

- Black plush gilt titled leatherette case of issue
- Single space riband bar, with hinged pin clasp fittings
- Enamelled lapel pin with reverse fob fitting

The silk corded medal is fitted with an un-marked slot brooch, this retaining the original long-hinged pin and intricate drop-lock clasp fittings, as issued

As issued circa 1945-1965, for Second World War, Korean War and Vietnam War veterans
