Reverse: Uniface. Fitted with a lapel fob as issued
Many thousands of Scots, Naval, Military & Arr Forces personnel and Expatriate Civilians, were made prisoner and or interred in Military P.O.W. and Civilian Internment Camps scattered across Asia, 1941-1945. Amongst the British Army units captured in theatre were no less then 3 x regular army infantry battalions, and one Territorial Army artillery battalion viz 2nd Battalion Roysl Scots (Hong Kong, 25 December 1941) and 2nd Battalion Gordon Highlanders; 2nd Battalion Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, and the 155th (Lanarkshire Yeomanry) Field Regiment Royal Regiment of Artillery the (Singapore, 15 February 1942)
