Note: Arthur's twin brother also served with 1st Punjab Volunteer Rifles, and he too was awarded a VLSM published in the same Indian Army Order referenced above

Arthur Frank Connor son of William Connor (Clerk, Chief Court, Lahore - later restyled as High Court, Lahore) and Harriet Connor (nee Casey), was born in Lahore, Punjab, India (now located in Pakistan) on, 17 November 1877. Arthur together with his twin brother Frank Arthur Connor, were baptized in Lahore, on  27th February 1878

Both the Connor 'Twins', went on to have mirror-like careers. Each served in the same Indian Volunteers unit, and both had long and distinguished careers as senior Indian Civil Servants (Arthur, ended his service as a Deputy District Magistrate, while Frank also held that appointment but ended as a District Commissioner - in 1939 Frank had retired and was living with his wife in Bedford, England)

Arthur Frank Connor is recorded in the 1918 issue of Thackers Directory as, Superintendent, Office of Inspector General Police, Lahore 

Arthur Frank Connor died in Ostend, Belgium, on, 30 April 1951. At the time of his death he had been residing at, 44 Boulevard Rogier. At the time of his death he was described as a Retired District Magistrate (He had been a senior Civil Servant in British India)
