Obverse: A most striking depiction of a standing Welsh 'Dragon' in centre, surrounded by regimental title as the legend and below the dragon the Welsh word 'Anorchfygol' for 'Unconquered', which is the regimental motto of the Montgomeryshire Yeomanry
Reverse: A laurel wreath, with a plain field for engraving in the centre
