Albert Roy Jeffery son of Leonard Jeffery (an Officers Steward in the Royal Navy) and Gladys Evelyn Jeffery (nee Frank) was a native of Fareham, Hampshire, England, where he was born on, 24 August 1920. During the Second World War, while on home service, Albert married Olive Violet Frost at Portsmouth, Hampshire, England, sometime during the second quarter of 1942. Sergeant Albert Roy Jeffery died at R.A.F. Thorney Island on 27 February 1967
