The Medal for the Capture of Rodrigues, Isle of Bourbon & Isle of France 1809-10, were issued without any authorised medal riband. Sometimes seen adapted for wear with fitments for attachment of chains or cords for the medals to be suspended from the neck of the recipients in the 'native' fashion. It is a moot point if any Indian recipient ever wore the medal suspended from a riband on their breast
