Harold Amos, son of George Amos (a Foreman Brass Finisher) & Charloote Amos (nee Oakes) was a native of, Wolstanton, Staffordshire, England, where he was born on, 31 July 1909. At the time of the compilation of the 1921 National Census, Harold  is recorded residing with his parents and two sibling elder sisters, Hilda Amos (b. 1898) & Freda Amos (b. 1905), at the family residence located at, 44 Mill House Lane, Wolstanton, Staffordshire. In retirement Harold Amos settled in Clwyd, Wales, where his death was registered at Rhuddlan, Denbighshire, Wales during the third quarter of 1985. At the time of his death he was 76 years of age
