Custom made 1950's 'empty' Medals wooden glazed display case. Suitable for displaying 9-11 overlapping full-size medals

- Length: 30cm

- Composition: Appears to be a tropical hardwood

The glazed hinged frame fitted with brass hinges, hook & eye clasp and wall mounted brackets on each side

Internally there is an inner recess (19cm x 13.5cm x 1.4cm) for placing / containing a mounted group suitable for displaying between 9 -11 court-mounted / overlapped full-size medals - see images attached of the frame containing a mounted group of 11 x full-size Orders and Medals

Note: The internal board / recess has a small cut-away to allow fitting of the arms of an MVO badge

The bespoke frame, which has no medallists or framers label, appears to be a tropical hardwood

Important:

a. The item being sold is the glazed frame only - it does not include any full-size medals (only here illustrated as a prop) 

b. The item will be well packaged, however we accept no responsibility for any damage to the frame while in transit

c. The shipping quoted for this bulky item includes supply of special packaging materials

d. The item will only be shipped to a destination in the United Kingdom

Last point notwithstanding overseas buyers are of course  welcome to buy the frame - but collection / packaging of the item would be for their own courier arrangement
