The insignia with 'Spink, London' maker marks indented on reverse top arm, indicating an item of insignia ordered by the Polish Government  in Exile (that was resident in London following the fall of Poland in September 1939

Originally instituted in 1923 by the Government of the Republic of Poland in three grades, Gold, Silver & Bronze.

A choice item, as issued by the Polish Government  in Exile during the Second World War. The insignia with all enamel intact
